Sometimes the best ideas start with something small. A conversation, a little inspiration, or in our case, a pennant that just wouldn't leave our minds!

For Spring/Summer 2027, Top It Off is taking a little trip down memory lane with our brand-new pennant collection. Inspired by vintage collegiate pennants, colorful fairground banners, and a dash of nostalgia, this collection has quickly become one of our favorite new ideas. But the story behind it is almost as fun as the pennants themselves. 

It All Started with a Town Name

Here's how it happened: a friend bought a pennant featuring the name of her favorite beach town to hang on her wall. Simple enough, right? But there was something about it that stuck with us. We loved the idea of celebrating a place that meant something to you in such a fun, classic way.

Around the same time, the idea of doing something with pennants had come up in a conversation in the office when we were throwing ideas around. We knew there was something there, but we hadn't quite figured out what to do with it or where to go.

The idea of a pennant with your personalized town name kept coming back to us.

We started imagining how we could put our own spin on the classic pennant, giving boutiques the chance to customize designs with their town names, local landmarks, and other details that celebrate what makes their communities unique.

Suddenly, the possibilities started to feel endless. From hometown pride to destination-inspired designs, we saw an opportunity to create something that feels personal, locally inspired, and full of character.

A Little Brainstorming Goes a Long Way

So, we did what any good creative team would do: we threw every idea out on the table and started dreaming up possibilities. We played with the concept, thought about all the different things people might want to celebrate, and imagined how we could take the classic pennant and give it a fresh, colorful Top It Off twist.

The result? Our Custom Pennant Collection!

These aren't just pennants with a name on them. They're a chance for boutiques to show off a little hometown pride, celebrate the places they call home, and offer something special that customers won't find just anywhere.

And that's what makes this collection so fun. Everyone has a place, a memory, or a little something that means the world to them. Now, you can turn yours into something worth showing off.
